All these years I have read about "The Pond".Until I saw it just now, I never realized the size andbeauty. What a huge undertaking.I can see how well your entire family helps with the maintenance. Thank you for sharing your wonderful venture!
Your ponds and garden are just beautiful. So enjoyed viewing your lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
What a wonderful site. I can see your love of your garden and of your family in your photos and your descriptions. My water garden here in Northeast New York is very similar to yours. I can't wait to re-open it this spring and count my fishies (all 26 of them).
Bethany, I love looking back at all your posts and your gardens are simply breath taking...cant imagine what it must be like in real life. I am still "working on "Willie for a little more private paradise in our yard like yours. Kaleb says "hi" too.
Wow - what a gorgeous backyard!! We are getting ready to begin OUR backyard project this Spring, and can only hope it turns out half as nice as yours is! Trying to decide if we want to include a pond or not -- we're definitely doing a waterfall and stream, but the winters are so harsh up here that I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not for us. Anyway, I am mega-impressed that you did so much of the work yourselves -- what an encouragement and inspiration! Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation with us!! ~Sharon
Your photos (and your garden) are truly lovely. I wanted to order some of your photo cards, please! Please let me know prices.
I love your site! I have a long, long way to go with my thorny 1 acre weed patch, but I plan to be here forever. Prior to this we lived on the North shore of Mexico's largest freshwater lake. (Just Google 'Lake Chapala'.) We were there for 14 years and we miss it every day.But we're back in the USA now and my garden awaits me! Just trying to cope with Gerogia's triple digit summer time weather. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful space with us and congratulations on your amazing family.Sincerely, Kathie Coull
Your home gardens are so beautiful! I can picture myself sitting in the middle of it all just listening to the water rippling down the rocks! Your son did a great job with your web page - I hooked up through hostasdirect.com. I'm just a little green!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! My heart and gardening hands were warmed by your site. It is a warm and blustery day here in Jersey. But the rain has made it damp and tad bit uninviting. You have a glorious garden and family. May God bless.
Enjoyed viewing your garden, absolutely lovely. We had six inches of snow yesterday (March 31) so I'll have to wait a bit longer before digging in my dirt!
Wow what a beautiful garden and wonderful family! Thanks for sharing. We are waiting a few more weeks for the snow to melt, your tour gave me the garden hit I have needed! Thanks!

Wonderful. It's always good to see people who wait for the spring, and her first blooom just as much as I do. Thanks!
Still one of the best pond tour websites I've seen. Who did your greenhouse?
You are so very blessed with that wonderful family. Thank you for sharing your world with us out here in cyberspace. My whole world changed when I moved south last year, not knowing a thing about tropical plants and climes, but I am muddling through. Your world is beautiful and I pray it stays that way.
This garden is absolutely breathtaking! I could live here.
This web site is pretty cool if you like to look at pictures. If you want to experience the thrill of an even better web site you should go to: www.runescape.com. There you can play an awesome MMORPG, but make sure to add: Wht Gandalf8 to your friends list. Also, you can contact me personally at froggyerik@gmail.com Sincerely, Erik Husby. P.S. I'm the brother of Joe, the computer nerd who made this web site. P.S.#2 That means that in my back yard is the pond (Lake Bethany) that we are obsessing about in this web site. That means that I own 1/5 the pond (Lake Bethany). I also own 2/10, 3/15, 4/20, or 5/20 of the pond (Lake Bethany). I rock at fractions, don't I? We're learning about how to add and subtract mixed numbers (example: 5 1/4) in math! It is so boring because I learned that in 4th grade (I'm in 6th grade now) so I barely have to work but that's a good thing. I've aced all of my tests except 1 (grr!). P.S.#3 MMORPG=Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.
I love the photos. Joseph, fabulous job creating this website.

Hi Bethany,Thank you for your family picture and your letter. We are so glad to see you and your family having a lot of good times. Your pond is more beautiful than before. We are doing good too. Frank has been working at Microsoft in Redmond WA since last April, and we are planning to move to WA soon. Janella is currently in 8th grade and doing well. Jonathan is almost 2 and half years old and he is a great little boy. Lichen is busy with our kids and taking care the house. We are still thinking Alan every day. There is so much in this world that reminds us of him, we miss him so much. Alan will be remebered forever. We also think of you and the other friends we met in Minnesota. Please say "Happy New Year" for us to the nurses we met. We hope you and your family have a chance coming to the Northwest in the future, we would like to invite you to our home. We want to keep the house we have in Oregon if possible. So, we will have home in both Oregon and Washington. (about 3.5 hours drive one way.)
This is my family. My pictures look the best! So are the other ones!
I enjoyed looking at the pictures of your project (well done and beautiful). I have been hauling rocks from my Montana ranch and farm to my son's home at Big Sky, MT for various landscaping projects for 2or 3 summers. Lots of work but, like you, I have enjoyed it.
We belong to your Dad's "Rent-A-Rev" church in Black River Falls. Our home was owned by the Pres of the Jackson Co Gardener's Club, so LOTS of pre-planted flowers and a teeny-weeny pond I'd love to move and/or expand. Your pictures inspire!PS....better get your Mom or Dad to sign this thing! Mary was bragging it up and gave me the website address.Today a pond, tomorrow a waterpark!Nancy
This is my family. My pictures are cool! So are the other ones.
